Infineon (formerly Siemens Semiconductor) and Identix announce joint marketing and production deal on fingerprint authentication devices:

siliconinvestor.com

Infineon has been shipping product since August. It is making the hardware and using IDX biometric software.

According to my scorecard, IDX has managed to bamboozle Motorola (making hardware for IDX and spending millions mentioning IDX in DigitalDNA ads), Compaq (OEMing an IDX PC peripheral, KTCC (OEMing an IDX biometric keyboard), Cherry (same), Mastercard (piloting smartcards with IDX biometrics), Novell (OEMing an IDX software product), and now Siemens.

Not bad for a Wexler-pronounced stock fraud.
