It's very like my affection for this thread. As I just posted to Zoltan, the "regulars" have gotten to know one another over time and have a context in which to talk and laugh and argue. I am a relative newcomer, in fact; yet I have found real friends here even among people with whom I disagree wholly on a number of issues. I have encountered amazing kindness and honesty, both in public and in PMs, from so many of the people on this thread that it pains me when things get out of hand and real blood is drawn.
