"MARK R. GOLDSTON has been our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and a director since March 1999. Prior to joining NetZero, Mr. Goldston served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Goldston Group, a strategic advisory firm, from December 1997 to March 1999. From April 1996 to December 1997, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp. after founding and serving his initial term with The Goldston Group from June 1994 to April 1996. Mr. Goldston also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of L.A. Gear from September 1991 to June 1994 and as a principal of Odyssey Partners, L.P., a private equity firm, from September 1989 to September 1991. Mr. Goldston received his M.B.A. (M.M.) from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University and his B.S.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Ohio State University."
