I think Russell may be deserving, but I am not so sure about Dewey, in spite of the importance of pragmatism. Of course, that is largely because of my desire to keep only those that I think had, or may have had, a constructive influence, and I am not so keen on Dewey. Joan will probably take a shot at me for this...I must think more, but you have been very helpful....What do you think of Camus, not for philosophy, but belles lettres?
