I found a link that has a pretty good summary of new technologies in eye surgery. ascrs.org Keep in mind that this article was published in 1997, so what was new then may not be new now. However, they do mention a process developed by Autonomous Tech that gave over 90% of patients 20/20 vision or better. It turns out that Autonomous Tech was recently bought out by BEAM. So Nasdbull, you may end up being right about BEAM yet. Incidentally, the procedure in BEAM's most recent PR (apex plus) is not the one that may be featured on NBC. The likely procedure is Ladarvision plus CustomCornea, which is somewhat explained in BEAMS 10/18 release. Anyways, since you may indeed be right about the company, I thought you would like to know this info in case you didn't already have it.
