Hi Peter, RePlay and Tivo are similar and Paul Allen has backed both companies. Any PC with a video captue card is similar.The big problem is storage. Tivo can only hold 6 hrs of video (20hrs with more expensive model. I have a long position in Tivo. TIVO and other Personal video assistants will make real money by busting the bandwidth for interactive advertising, ie by delivering for example a ten min. interactive ad and getting paid to make the sale.Storage is the obstagle to these type of ads. You do not want a third of your storage capacity used up with ads that you may never get around to seeing. But if these ads are automatically offloaded to your VCR and easly retrieved, some people can be enticed to interact: (CGLD, IWIN)BROADBAND ECOMMERCE is the JACKPOT. Regards Frank
