UTCI websites: uniroyaltech.com uniroyalopto.com Sites under construction. Uniroyal Optoelectronics is the name of the joint venture with EMCORE, which is also located in Tampa. More details can be found in some of the archived press releases. EMCORE has invested $6.0 million according to their 10-Q for Q3 '99. They would probably use the same supplier of substrate wafers for the LED business as EMCORE already uses for their epi wafer foundry business, but I don't know who that is. EMKR is down at the moment. The main reason appears to be a delay in receiving export licenses from the State Dept. for their high-efficiency solar cells (satellite technology).
