Frank & Thread RE: fixed wireless. A recent Morgan Stanley report announced that US West has agreed to a test of broadband fixed wireless system developed by Adaptive Broadband. The product delivers data transmission rates "as much as 400 times fast then 56k modems". Apparently this system will be tested in the Denver area. What is so special about this and who are Adaptive's competitors (NT??).
