Hey Glenn, after a little digging, guess who is one of the biggest investors in iship.com? Yep, its EBAY!

I guess ebay needed to juice up their income figures for the fourth quarter.

If anyone thinks the powers that be wouldnt dare do anything like this, just remember that TWICE, amazon purchased worthless private companies which had large investments from kleiner perkins less than THREE WEEKS before the purchase.

This sort of crap happens all the time. A company that I was involved in purchased a worthless canadian company and nearly bankrupted the aquiring company. Nobody could understand why the CEO pushed the deal through, even though it made no sense. Well, I heard long after the bigger company had been sold at firesale prices that the CEO got under the table kickbacks from the aquired company. Go figure.

One of these days i'll learn how to hold my nose and dive into the corruption. I'll certainly make more money when I do.
