Yer a president and coo of a biotech company sitting on a product that ostensibly looks like a market place winner. In fact, you come out and say that your compnay will be doing 100 mil within 2 years. You own 33,066 of the common (yes I KNOW officers have stock options). You look forward to the future. You make markeing plans, etc. Six months pass and you realize revenues are not coming in as you predicted. In fact, its looking rather abysmal. Either you are not executing your plans very well, or the plan(s) stink, or the medical community is one tough nut to crack. Either way you conclude that its going to take A LOT longer than you anticipated. In fact analysts are trying to get guidance and a feel on how well the sales are marketing efforts are going. You know there will be analysts' revisions on revuenue growth (or lack thereof). Substantial revisions. You sell 30,000 shares at around 81/2 bucks. The stock continues to slide. My point is that whenever you see an insider unload ALL of his current holdings, things are not looking all that great for the company in question. I've seen it over and over again. Why didn't I sell when I saw the filing? Good question - but I hate taking a loss. It will take a great deal more time for this stock to recover to the low 2 digits and I guess I'm willing to wait.
