When you think about this it's almost unbelievable. MSFT is lower by over $5 than it was a week or so before the massive earnings!!!

Not only that but the stock has no strength even at this level. Every slight downdraft in the market takes MSFT down with it.

There is now an effective cap on MSFT whiich whatever is casuing it, can, if it has seen off an earnings announcement suc as we have just seen, keep a tight lid on MSFT's stock price well into the year 2001.

Maybe thats what someone wants.. ie to make an investment in MSFT over the near term effectively dead money!

Whatever or whoever is responsible for this they are very very effective.
