Narayanan painted a rosy picture of the economy... Well, let's see how they will get out of the truckers' strike that is currently on. If they had allowed oil prices to find their natural levels, they would have gone up by the same amount, but it would have been spread over the last 8 months. But no, these thugs wanted to present the "hunky-dory" illusion in order to win the elections... Well, they sort of won it, with the support of 24 or 26 or 28 parties (does anybody know the latest count?). And they are in power now. Let's see what those magic religious chantings will do! Already, alliance partners like Chauthala are making noises about the diesel price hikes. So, it's time to apply the first Band-Aid. There will be some more before the thugs finally come down crashing, in a year or so. Two years, at the most.
