Since I linked my homepage to my profile, my email has increased a thousand-fold with junk emails. The damage of one person to divulge any personal information, foul language, spamming or blatant attempts to manipulate certain stock prices, can easily be erased and soon forgotten. For the most part, the REAL repeat offenders are idiots and SI'ers are smart enough to see them for who they really are.

SI can't monitor the ones who REALLY cause damage, the quite ones who enjoy clicking on your profile, searching out your personal homepages and email addresses, then adding them to their junky-email-bot lists and maybe even sell them. I won't even mention about some of those lazy "NEWS" reporters who don't even subscribe to SI, who at the last minute or deadline for a "news" story might steal comments and publish names or nicknames from postings they found doing a net-search ...

But, SI-BOB can monitor the postings .. i'm sure its not as simple as i.e. typing in swear words in the subject search boxes to see who's been bad, although my guess sometimes he will do just that. It would be awful to think that one person can put in a complaint about another person and ask ADMIN to terminate that person with or without cause.
There must be more to the story, several complaints on file, and even repeating circumstances or warnings that brings arise to this thread today.

I never heard of CobaltBlue until today, and I hope she is suspended just for the reason that.. THAT is the standard punishment for not adhereing to the Terms of Use agreement.

But termination?, nay. She's just one that got caught. As much pressure as there must have been to inflict this punishment by the powers that be, I will add to your growing list of supporters to mount pressure for reinstatement ...

imho that is.
