Sorry Peter, I haven't been watching this board lately.

It looks like the BEA marketing campaign is kicking in - with ads in WSJ, Info Week, and the Biz Week you've seen. They definitely are conveying a more understandable message. The message is also good.

The message is good but I think this generation is not yet fully aware of the e-generation - BEA is talking about. It seems to be a bit lost among the thousands of e* campaigns.

I enjoyed seeing their ad in Info Week - for the reason Info Week always ignored BEAS. Because BEAS never spent money on placing ads. Hope these mags start covering BEAS news.

I see more clients flocking to 3-tier web implementations. BEAS is clearly the leader. All of these simpler App Server/ASP style sites have to go away. This is real business now. They cannot satisfy millions of users with poorly designed sites.

BEAS will probably meet earnings estimates this quarter too. But the best results will come next year.

I have been to few next generation ecommerce companies recently. I am more convinced than ever - that
** by next year BEAS will be the Cisco of e*commerce transaction frameworks **

Regarding the speculations of Sun buying BEAS. Nope, I do not think it will happen. Sun already has too much baggage with Netscape, Kiva and Forte. They wouldn't know what to do with BEAS stuff. But they will envy WebLogic Enterprise next year, when it gets even more popular.

Go BEAS! I'd like to see this stock in 3 digits by next year.
