Triquanta's subsidiary, Howell International Ltd of Grand Prairie, Texas is
pleased to announce they have received an order for 10,000 lines of
refurbished AT&T Dimension 2000 PABX switching equipment from
their distributor to the Philippines, Canyon Resources of Irving, Texas.

This is the first order for the Philippines for Howell and is valued at
approx. $200,000 U.S. The first 2000 lines of the 10,000 line order
will be shipped to the Philippines within the next 30 days.

Mr. Kevin Howell, President of Howell International feels confident this
initial order for the Philippines will result in further sales of 10,000
lines every month with a possible increase after the first 60,000 lines
are shipped.

This is an exciting break through for Triquanta considering the Philippines
at present has only about 1 or 2 phone lines per 100 people compared to
North America which has 55 lines per 100 people. The Philippines government
is now in the early stages of a multi-billion dollar upgrading of the
infrastructure
of their phone systems to take place over the next 5 - 10 years. This upgrading
will begin to provide basic phone service to their population of approx 65
million people.
