I agree. The only way to confirm Mr. Guzman's identity is to do DNA testing on (1) bone fragments such as those from the lower jaw, pelvis, ribs, etc.; (2) dental pulp; and (3) hair samples (if they are not too badly decomposed. It is no point to obtain DNA from soft tissues such as muscle or internal organs because the DNA will be too degraded. Once the DNA is obtained, one can compare the genetic profile to that of his parents and/or siblings. The procedure is relatively straight forward. The question is whether or not the Phillipine government will do the test?

BTW, one can also detect Hepatitis B antigen from the autopsy samples.
