Discounting...

IMHO, the prospect for a dividend decrease is already discounted into the stock price. The market has also discounted Sun Healthcare's bankruptcy. If management is correct, they will find a new lessor for the buildings. OHI has already agreed to take over the leases if SHG defaults. Last word is, SHG is still making its payments on the 42 buildings owned by MT.

I any event, the next dividend will be payed on schedule. The only question is, how much dividend will be lowered.
In the meantime, anybody else notice that Congress quietly raised payments to Medicare providers last week? They have to know that the Medicare reductions have been overdone.
