Your contention that Q's behavior is actually well thought out efforts on their part to keep the momentum crowd from distorting the valuation of qcom challenges my credulity. Go back and review the actual sequence of events that occurred at the time of the secondary.

I certainly would not argue with a steep but orderly rise in price would work best for recruiting and retention purposes , but the best way to achieve this is not ineptitude.

As for Dr. J's management team is brilliant , it was not their brilliance but their eventual focus I was questioning. The key word here is eventual. Currently, they are (IMHO) focused exactly where they should be - the supremacy of CDMA. But a couple of years from now, no WS smarts may mean the difference of 25 to 35 in PE #s.

In response to it would be a mistake to underestimate the Q , I can only say there is a reason why Q is my largest holding.
