speaking of Talgo trains, do you know about their technology and the fact that tracks must meet certain specifications in order for those trains to be operable on them? Are the tracks between Primm Valley and Las Vegas suitable for Talgos? Even Amtrak-UP/SP has to upgrade their tracks for their proposed trains, as outlined here:

where you can read all about the Talgos and Amtrak's plans for them here in the West, including routes from LA to Las Vegas.

Do you know how long it takes to get action in making track improvements and how long it will take to get the improvements actually made? And who will fund the improvements?

No Talgos can run where the track architecture doesn't meet their specific requirements. These aren't your Grandfather's trains, you know.

Seems as if the gambling is already being done without any trains in place.
