I thought the way Pete Rose was treated was without a doubt the rudest of any interview I have ever seen on television. I sent this E-Mail to NBC last night.

I'd like to express my opinion on the poor treatment of Pete Rose by your on-field reporter. His comments and opinions on Pete Rose were totally uncalled for and unjustified. The people had voted Mr. Rose as one of the players of the century, and he should have been able to enjoy his moment in history. Instead, this rude, pompous interviewer puts his opinions on national tv and tries to interrogate Mr. Rose on what should have been a great night for him. I'm glad Pete Rose stood up for himself, and hope that NBC takes action against this reporter. His actions were uncalled for, considering the stature of this award.
