Sonki. Thanks for all the info. I had read up on some of them. Did you buy LU?

AOL was up in the end. What a crazy ride.

The market is being stifled a bit now. European money guys are doing the same as here. Bad mouthing the economy. If the economy grows too much and inflation sets in, we MAY have to raise the rates. At least we are exporting remarks.

Dell has overtaken CPQ over here but are still No.1 in Europe? I am still keeping an eye on CPQ. I may nibble on it once their qtr comes in. I am not sure yet if I want to do it before.
Dell again. They will have to swallow some of the memory chip costs for their big customers for a cpl of qtrs. It COULD affect their margin a bit. I think I heard that big customers would not look on it kindly if Dell would cut the memory in their purchases. It's kind of contracted out ahead of time.

PFE. For a while even my WLA did not look too great. Just because Paine Webber's analyst is getting tired of watching PFE. He is a Paine alright. I don't know what the heck he is talking about when it comes to that pipeline. Even if he believes the pipeline will be slowing a bit, current stuff should do the trick for a while until things get hopping again. Some of my drugs recovered later in the day.

The Internet Fund (which had Jacob as its manager) has CMGI and SFE as some of the top holdings. I like the IPO's I get thru SFE. I just sold those odd shares of ICGE at a nice profit and now I hear it may go a lot higher. I also sold my odd lot of US interactive and that got an upgrade today. Sheesh. In any event, I am looking forward to at least 6 more IPO's from SFE in the next year. For every 100 sh. you hold you can buy a certain amount of IPO shares at the offering price. The amount of shares differ. If SFE comes down again a bit, I may buy some more shares. You never did answer my question. Does CMGI give you some IPO shares also? I would be interested in CMGI, actually even without it, if they did. I guess I could check into it myself. But why work so hard when you don't have to. gg.

Sonny
