The Windchill Factor! e-Series is comprised of eight solutions that leverage an impressive 17 new modules, delivering value across the product lifecycle spectrum. Solutions include: Product Planning Factor!, Engineering Factor!, Sourcing Factor!, Product Management Factor!, Manufacturing Planning Factor!, Production Factor!, Collaboration Factor! and Customization Factor!. Newly introduced with this release, the Windchill Product Planning Factor! gives manufacturers the agility they need to deliver custom-tailored products on demand, while maintaining a minimal number of product variations. This solution includes the Windchill Product Configurator, which allows companies to create flexible products by incorporating configuration and customization logic into the product definition. Offering personalized design portals, customers can evaluate parametric configurations of the product they are defining, enhancing the business to consumer relationship. The three new products in this solution are: the Configuration Modeler, the Order Generator and the Product Register.
Windchill Engineering FACTOR!
The Windchill Engineering Factor! enables advanced design collaboration by providing powerful solutions for managing heterogeneous knowledge generated with mechanical, electrical and software authoring applications and managing work-in-process information.
