Rick,
I simply sent them an email. Karen responded to my email questions a number of times, in a quite timely manner. Let me ramble a bit here. Well, the bulls seem to have subsided on this thread. Maybe it's time for me to invest. Last evening I was riding by MIT (boy do I wish PRLN was next door like so many companies in this area) and I happen to almost collide with a woman riding her bike. I started chatting with. Low and behold, she turned out to a be an AIDS mental health counselor here in Boston. So we rode on, chatting about our roles in the community providing mental health services. What a great opportunity to discuss recent drug developments. Protease inhibitors; from her experiences these drug are providing wonderful results in many of the patients she is seeing. Great news, but I suppose in some ways a cure for AIDS would kill some of our self-interested motives here, but in other ways hopefully satisfy our altruistic desires. Well, protease inhibitors, or drug combinations in a broader sense, don't appear to entirely consistently effective across a broad range of populations. One reason for this is that, in her opinion, AIDS needs to be treated from a holistic point of view, an many do not have the financial, social, and personal resources to treat themselves in this manner. Also, the AIDS virus appears to be mutating and developing resistance to protease inhibitors in some cases. In other cases, especially when holistic practices are exercised, there appears to be substantial increases in health. The likelihood that protease inhibitors stand as only one source of possible treatmeant is likely. Thus the insignicant toxiticity and and beneficial effects of kinase (sp) inhibitors stands to benefit from the inadequacy of protease inhibitors and drug combinations - the drug combinations in the abscence of Androvir. This woman's opinion was that she thought that any such natural suppliments, such as AAndrovir, that had any scientific validity and efficacy would stand to benefit from movement toward a holistic approach to treating AIDS. This woman heard of PRLN, but knew nothing about the comapny. I hope in time she becomes well educated on PRLN's products. Any sign of this, and I think I'll have to buy some shares. This was a nice experience for me. Hoping for the best....... looking for some answers in the wake of this disappointing stock price. |
