Hi Maurice, A bunghole you might be, but at least you were a right bunghole. I just thought you would rather have an official surrender from the GSM Nazis to the CDMA Mafia as the Last Post requiem.

Herewith! From the soothsayer Bill Frezza:

OK CDMA champions here it is, the column you've been waiting for:

CDMA: The Revenge of the Nerds

You can consider this my official surrender (though not unconditional:)

This should appear in print next week in the April 15th issue of Network Computing with (I am told by my editor) a banner on the cover reading "Frezza Eats His Words."

You have put up an awesome fight, I am humbled. Comments and further debate welcomed. This ain't over until CDMA actually makes some money.

Bill

PS. Ira, before you swoon over the billions of minutes of airtime Nextwave has commitments for, you might want to find out the price they're getting. If this is less than their actual costs (including financing the licenses) the hole only gets deeper.

Ha, ha, ha to you Bill. And you are going to be a venture capitalist? WOW!

Maurice
