Did anyone see the Dell ad on the back cover of the 11/2/99 issue of PC Magazine?

The headline is "It's Like Getting Your Plane Ticket Upgraded To Air Force One" (so much for the "bus" theme -- they're moving right to supersonic aircraft! <G>).

The body copy says "Using some PCs is like flying first class. Then there is the sensation of flying in one of the most advanced, loaded, high-tech planes on the planet. That's kind of what it's like using a Dell system featuring the latest Pentium III processor with 133Mhz system bus, and the newly developed RDRAM technology that delivers up to 166% improved memory performance over SDRAM. All that means fast overall performance and vastly improved multi-tasking. But to really understand, you'll have to fly it yourself. Please fasten your seatbelts, and put your tray in the upright position."

Finally the kicker -- You can get the base model for $1699!!
