BOTEX TO DEVELOP PRODUCT FOR CONVERSE FOOTWEAR

Botex Industries Corp. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the
Company has entered into a Research and Development arrangement with Converse
Footwear. Converse is a $700 million global supplier in the athletic
footwear and apparel market. Botex will work with R & D staff at Converse to
create shoe parts for various designs in their product line.

Converse Senior Vice President of R & D, Ned Frederick, is excited about the
possibilities offered by Botex in building new products for the Converse
brand. Fredericks stated, "I believe the use of Botex will allow us to
shorten the development lead times as well as to drastically lower our mould
costs. This product is perfect for today's market as Retailers increasingly
demand faster product introductions while at the same time demanding fresh,
'hot' looking products. Botex allows us to extend the design parameters by
incorporating multi-colored and multi-density parts, while shortening mould
creation timelines by at least half."

"I believe the new management at Botex, which has a lot of experience in the
sports market, fully understands the needs of our company. We look forward
to this relationship and to offering Botex parts in our product range", added
Frederick.
