Pangea Announces the Launch of a New Subsidiary and a New Product for Surveillance Industry
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 1999--Houston-based WorldLink USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pangea Petroleum Corporation (OTCBB:PAPO - news), announced today that they are creating a new subsidiary for their iCam division.
``The iCam has attracted a lot of positive attention and we believe creating a complete, separate subsidiary for the iCam will allow us to better focus on developing and marketing the iCam to its fullest potential,' stated Nick Tubach, president of WorldLink.
In addition, WorldLink is proud to announce they have developed a new product for the multi-billion dollar surveillance industry. The new product is a model similar to the iCam device and is uniquely designed for numerous monitoring applications in the surveillance industry.
Charles Pollock, chairman of Pangea, commented that the product would facilitate WorldLink's entry into new monitoring markets. Offering superior price/performance, the product is designed with state-of-the-art digital technology coupled with software that will permit plug and play operation but limit access of the content being viewed to authorized groups or individuals. The system will facilitate select, secure monitoring services and enable the company to exploit new markets in the rapidly growing surveillance industry.
Pangea has entered into the early stages of negotiations with a company to take the new monitoring system nationwide.
