The post in question looked more like a a type II to me in that it might have been potentially dangerous to investors--or at least the respondent thought so, and his response was geared toward distinguishing fact from opinion in that regard. I'd like to congradulate the author of the post you referenced for doing a great job of attempting to get at data and referenceable material rather than merely exchanging insults.
