Well, I usually don't broadcast such things, but I know of a couple of guys who wish they weren't in that meeting today. Anyway, I wonder why everyone always assumes that it's the hoster's fault. One would have to know who did the acceptance on the software that runs at those sites, what the SLAs are, and how much influence or lack thereof both the hoster and the tenant actually have, on a case by case basis. These matters can become very complicated, illogical at times, and shoot from the hip at others. They also can, and often do, depend on the meteorology of the 'net at any point in time. Scary, eh?
I wouldn't jump the gun on assessing blame unless I knew all the details. Been there, got shot, won't go there again without a vest.
