<rt beta, I couldn't care less. A stock that goes up faster than the market has a high beta.>
You should care, a stock that goes down faster than the market has a high beta too.
<Volatility is my friend.>
You need to keep better company.
The myth that the high beta stocks perform better than the low beta stocks is simply not true (even in a raging bull market). MSFT has a beta of .91, and the S&P has a beta of 1.0, NSCP has a beta of 1.72, NOVL has a beta of 1.29.
MSFT has trounced NOVL by over 500% in performance during the bull market, I you know the situation with NSCP, and it has severely out performed the S&P as well. Beta is an incomplete measure, a hybrid of alpha and beta is the RCM prescribed solution. See exchange2000.com

Here you are downloading very valuable intellectual information (unavalailble anywhere else on the web have you) without paying a dime for it and you won't even proffer an email address in return. Phooey on you, next time I'll charge you $4,000 dollars per report like the Gartner Group:-) |
