Well, two resignations that couldn't be more different in terms of my reaction to them. On Sanders: One can only hope for the sake of investors in the drive sector that Fujitsu is tiring of losing money in drives, or at the very least that top managers are weary of managing companies with little or no hope of making any money. A spark of hope (though, of course, it may well be entirely displaced, we can't possibly actually know whay he has resigned, and the above speculations may be total nonsense).

And on van Cuylenberg: For this DSS holder at least, depressing. i don't know what kind of manager he really was, but he was certainly articulate in CCs. I hope they can find someone good to replace him. And I hope that the motivation for this was a huge paycheck and not bailing out before we get a peek at the state of SDLT at Comdex.
