The class-action is a result of the Delrina acquisition in 1995.

The class period is from June 1995 to (I think) January 1996. Anyone who bought shares at this time is entitled to a certain compensation according to how long the shares were held.

Actually, the case has been resolved, with SYMC deciding it was easier to pay up and forgo a long drawn out trial. The sums have been placed in escrow and the final distribution per share is or should be worked out soon.

The latest meeting with Judge was October 18th.
