continuity of confidence in danger? interestingly the peak in consumer confidence and the stock market coincided. consumer confidence got to it's most extreme reading ever, as the savings rate turned negative, catapulting the savings/IPO's ratio to infinity for the first time ever... all of which argues for a secular rather than a cyclical peak being in place.
