Basically with mcom (Ricochet) you have box about the size of a check box with an antenna on it. Plugs into laptop and you are good to go anywhere in the Bay Area with 28k service. No looking for phone lines. Just turn it on and you're on the net. Unlimited access for $30 a month (plus the modem 250-$300). Seems good to me. The niche is if you travel in their service area a lot and use teh net, its perfect. Caxton
