This 100-per-cent growth was the main reason the company, based in Brampton, Ont., reported that revenue increased to $5.39 billion US, up 30 per cent from a year earlier. "We've had tremendous growth in the optical business," Nortel president John Roth said during a conference call after stock markets closed. "It's continuing to climb."
