SISL launches HIS
SIEMENS Information Systems Limited (SISL), the software subsidiary of Siemens Limited and Siemens Business Services, on Tuesday launched an integrated healthcare information system (HIS) for the Indian and global market. The product suite has been conceptualised and developed at SISL centre in Bangalore. Effective this month, HIS will be integrated into the product range of Siemens Health Services GmBH. At a press meet here on Tuesday, Anil Laud, managing director, SISL, said the Windows-based HIS integrates the functions of all the departments in a hospital. It has a huge collection of clinical modules for laboratory, nursing, radiology, blood bank and administrative modules like registration, patient financials, stores and pharmacy. (10/26/99: ET) |
