Frank: The real irony is, why would anyone move into bonds if inflation were in the wings. In times of inflation and increasing yields (decreasing bond values) bonds are the worst place to hide. This is some nutso paradigm that grows out of a total misunderstanding of inflations effect on equities vs. fixed income instruments. In the case of techs they have done as well under inflation as deflation. I have owned MSFT since 89 and haven't seen any difference in an up or down bond market. JFD
