What if I told you there was this small tech company from a small town in Mass that has the potential to be bigger than Microsoft. Your responce--oh OK. But I say legitimately yes. I have followed the company for some time and put up a substantial investment in their future. The mastermind behind the company is Peter Sprague and his son Steven. The technology[patent hardware metering chip] has metamorphised through the years into what is now called the EMBASSY e-commerce system. Wave Systems has been busy building a humongous supply chain and infrastucture for what they( and I) hope will be world-wide ubiquitous market saturation. Imagine a toll booth in the 21 century connecting a billion trusted devices. Settop boxes, PC handhelds--actually ALL THINGS DIGITAL. The business plan calls for Wave to receive a high profit margin per transaction. Now imagine millions of transactions being made world-wide throughout the internet per-second in the year 2004. The ambitions of this company ARE LARGER than msft. This article by Bob Metcalfe shows that Wave has a clear lead on INTC and Novell.
