Actually, Harry, the discussions focused on whether MSFT would move from the NASDAQ to the NYSE and then subsequently be added to the DJIA. It's a well know fact that the NYSE had reserved the "M" symbol for MSFT if in fact Gates decided to make the move. Unfortunately for those of you that were hoping to see the switch, it's all but out of the question at this point, now that Dow Jones decided to add MSFT (and INTC) to the DJIA while still trading on the NASDAQ.
