Welcome to the Tek thread John! Tek hasn't been much to be excited about for a lot of years. This is understandable since Howard didn't set any new directions before he left the company. He sure made a bundle in T&M. The new "professional management" is at a natural disadvantage as compared to the guy who founded and provided the vision for the company on the business side as well as engineering side.
With this transitional period behind them, Tek should be ready to go after something. Although, I still don't like how long it has taken the "brass" to get their act together. Especially, when they are paying themselves compensation (salary + stock options) equivalent to far more succesful companies. For reasons of their non-performance I always vote against proposals to give these guys stock options. I will change my mind if they put in some overdue world class performance. If they don't they should be voted out. Your input regarding getting the name out is a good move on TEK's part. If the public had any idea what TEK has done for the movie industry and seen the disparity of income between movie makers and TEK I think they would cry FOUL! I'm enthusiastic about Tek recently due to the recent FCC actions concerning HDTV. The printers although the company growth engine recently I'm not as optimistic about the market potential as the HDTV products.
