Dorothy...imho we are going lower! Market looks very tired. Earnings are out and didn't do anything than temporary. Bonds are still sinking, Y2k looming(at least for the public),and interest rates might still go up...whaddaya think. Had positions in LCOS and IFMX yesterday but got stopped out of LCOS and closed IFMX out for flat not because it's a bad company or a bad entry point but because i wanted to be in cash in this dangerous situation.
Amazing to see that despite good earnings MSFT is not able to break out of it's range. CSCO looks like it wants to break down, WCOM will post earnings and has bad chart, missed INTC as a short today and DELL looks weak.

Some of CLINT's M&S group is behaving nicely(airo!)but on these i'm still on study mode.
Amazing how quiet SI becomes when things aren't rocking.Seems like you could use the posting frequency as a market indicator?!
