The worst case is if the judge rules against MSFT , the stock price will go side way for couple of days and then steadily move up . If the Judge rules in favor of Microsoft , the stock price will shoot up
immediately. So people have nothing to loose if they buy now , but will catch up the opportunity when Microsoft moves up. The stock price had gone sideway for more than six months, and the possibility of the judge rules against MSFT has been built into the stock price. Once the judge rules, no matter against or in favor of Microsoft, the price will move up, either shoot up or up steadily depending on the rulling, because all the uncertainity is gone after the ruling, and the decision of the appeal court will be years away, and at that time
, the current case will mean nothing at all to Microsoft , then !!!!

So, again, after the ruling, business as usual for Microsoft !!!!
