Taro, the actual costs for a 720 kbps down link is is arounfd $60-70 per month. I have critisised BT and am trying to get a few editor friends of mine to slag them off! I am even more frightened by the Deutsche Telekom price!!

In a recent trial they charged the 'guinea pigs' about $45 per month for 1.5 Mbps, and now they are trying to go commercial with the lower bit rate and higher price. Got to be honest that the lower bit rate is not a problem (720 kbps is stil an f'ing lot!), but the hike in price is outrageous. I mentioned in previous posts that I think that a similar service in Sweden is cheaper...now BT will quote how much cheaper it is than in Germany. Oh well.

Watch the press for my interference campaign.

All the best,
M
