I heard the same thing about Primeau on Empire last night. Can you imagine?! turning down 3.5 million a year? Give me a break, who does he think he is, the second coming of the Golden Jet or #4? I hope he enjoys his time with the Canadian team, and warm wishes to Yashin on vacation, as well. Sabres do have a couple of guys who kind of went the other way - Satan fired his agent, then negotiated personally with the Sabres to get the job done at 2.4 per. Barnes had the gall of actually reporting to camp without a contract, so he could get into game shape, feeling he was close enough to agreement, and the job would eventually get done - which it did. Who's leading the team in scoring, and has been far and away the best player for Buffalo thus far (I know that's not saying much!) - Stu Barnes.
