Thermacell Technologies Opens Daytona Production
Facility

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Thermacell Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLL - news, VCLLW -news) announced today that its manufacturing plant located at 440 Fentress Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32115 will be online and operational November 1, 1999. The facility will be capable of producing Vaxcells, as well as microspheres using Dr. Day's techniques (see PR News release, Oct 14, 1999). Essential stones as well as other consumer items, to be announced within the
next few days, will also be manufactured at this plant. Initial capacity will vary by product but the plant can produce approximately 8 tons (16,000 lbs.) of Vaxcells daily, which will meet or exceed Keystone Industries first year requirements.The Company is making arrangements to purchase additional equipment to expand its production to include Essential Stones as well as other consumer goods.

The company uses Vaxcells as an additive in paints and coatings to reduce heat and act as a sealant, and can be used in other industries and products to enhance performance as well as reduce costs in: chemicals, cosmetics, fragrances, construction, pharmaceuticals, aerospace and others. Keystone Ind., (PR News release, Aug. 24) agreement calls for 4 to 6 million pounds over the next two years, utilizing the Vaxcells as a sensitizing agent in emulsion explosives for surface mining.
