Amir, I certainly don't think they are cheap on a valuation basis. However, they are cheap on an absolute basis. My point being that when you buy puts, you want a lot of downside. $30 or less is usually where I lose interest as the absolutely worst thing that can happen to the stock price isn't bad enough. I prefer stocks in the $40-100+ area, with scads of strike prices to rip through.
