ALL--Hoyt Axton dies at the age of 61. He wrote "Joy to the World" and "Never Been to Spain" which were hits for Three Dog Night. He also wrote "The Pusher" which was done to perfection by Steppenwolf. He also played good ole boy roles in several movies. His mother co-wrote "Heartbreak Hotel"..
