Where did all the doomers go? Remember they use to attack us on a regular basis?

While I am not a doomer (terminology like that is part of what makes this whole "debate" so difficult), here's my two cents.

Perhaps 20% of folks are seriously concerned about Y2K issues. A solid 80% (or more) are blissfully oblivious.

At this point in time it's not very useful to convince either side... it's just time to wait & see who's more or less right. In another 4 to 6 months we'll know for certain.

I think IBM's cautionary statements about Q499 & Q100 earnings is the tip of the iceberg.

But we'll just have to wait & see.
