Take a deep breath, my friend. Had Truman not acted, it may be that there would have been revolutions throughout Europe, or a Soviet advance. If he had not acted, there might have been even greater adventurism in Asia. One can argue the merits of his dispute with Mac Arthur, but there would have been no support had the war widened into one with China....
