Windows 2000 Shipment Delayed REDMOND, Wash. (AP) - Microsoft Corp (Nasdaq:MSFT - news).'s long awaited update to Windows NT won't ship to users until next February. Windows 2000, Microsoft's next generation network operating system for business and corporate use, has already been delayed for more than a year. The Redmond software giant has been saying recently that Windows 2000 would ship before the end of 1999, but said yesterday it would not actually be available until Feb. 17. --- Why can't anyone get this right? Is reporting really so difficult? Microsoft has been stating the following for months now: - RTM in 1999 - Available on store shelves in early 2000 This is not news!
